2026 July 4 Fireworks Guide For Secaucus And Surrounding Towns

Your best viewing guide for the Secaucus town show and over the Hudson River, as America celebrates the 250th anniversary of its founding.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Fourth of July activities in Secaucus have extra sparkle in 2026, as this year is the 250th anniversary, or semiquincentennial, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The holiday falls on a Saturday in the middle of a three-day weekend, July 3-5. To help you fit it all in on your 4th of July calendar, Patch put together a guide to fireworks and other celebrations in Secaucus and the surrounding towns.

Secaucus fireworks will be July 1: Secaucus will host its annual Independence Day celebration and fireworks Wednesday night, July 1 at the Secaucus Swim Club (2000 Koelle Blvd.). The festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. featuring food, entertainment, and live music, with the fireworks show launching as soon as it gets dark. Open to Secaucus residents and their guests only. Must show photo ID.

NYC fireworks will be July 4: If you want to see the massive Macy's 4th of July fireworks, head to the Hudson River waterfront July 4. This display is visible from the Jersey City waterfront and there will be food trucks, live music and family activities at Exchange Place. They will be setting off fireworks from the East River and the lower Hudson River this year, in collaboration with Jersey City. The best viewing spots on the East River are from the South Street Seaport district and fireworks will also go off directly from under the Brooklyn Bridge.
