Chick-Fil-A Proposed To Open In Secaucus
The Red Robin restaurant in Secaucus will likely be torn down and replaced by a Chick-Fil-A.

SECAUCUS, NJ — We have more big news: The Red Robin restaurant in Secaucus will likely be torn down and replaced by a Chick-Fil-A.
This is according to Mayor Mike Gonnelli on Friday morning. The Red Robin there (next to Buffalo Wild Wings) has been closed for quite some time. Chick-Fil-A will submit an application before the Secaucus Zoning Board to tear down the restaurant and build a new Chick-Fil-A building.
It will have a drive-through.

Chick-Fil-A first had to apply before the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (remember them? They control a lot of land use in Secaucus), which owns the land in the Harmon Meadow section of town. But the NJSEA approved it and now it heads to the town of Secaucus.
Gonnelli said the town supports the idea and it will likely be approved.

Building teardown and construction would likely happen this year. That land is owned by Hartz Mountain.
