SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests in town:

On Aug. 31 at 6:51 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 42-year-old man of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sherriff’s Office with no bail. He was issued 1 motor vehicle summons in Secaucus and taken to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 31 at 8:07 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Justin Rodriguez of Union City, NJ for Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(3)]. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

On Sept. 1 at 9:26 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the New Jersey State Police barracks in Cranbury, NJ to take into custody a 24-year-old man of Penns Grove, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000 with a 10 % option. He was able to post bail and was released.

On Sept. 2 at 9:45 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old woman of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $1,000. She was able to post bail and was released.

On Sept. 3 at 6:04 AM, Secaucus Police responded to CVS in Plaza Centre on a report of an individual attempting to pay with fraudulent U.S. currency. Police arrested a 22-year-old woman Kimeya Sanders of Los Angeles, CA for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)]. She was issued a summons to appear in town court and was released.

On Sept. 3 in an effort to reduce vice-related crimes within the town, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit arrested the following individuals; at 3:23 PM, the police arrested a 22-year-old female, Luisa Rojas- Ventura of Bayonne, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Ms. Rojas- Ventura was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 6:25 PM, the police arrested a 57-year-old female, Deborah Santiago of Bloomfield, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Ms. Santiago was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Sept. 3 at 4:28 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 51-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500. He was released on his own recognizance.

On Sept. 3 officers from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 38-year-old woman, Iman Barnes of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ for the charges of Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. She was issued the charges in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on 08/19/2026. Ms. Barnes was further found to have been involved in a shoplifting incident at Marshalls located at 400 Millcreek Drive on 08/15/2025. Ms. Barnes was additionally issued a complaint summons for this incident for the charges of Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. She was issued a warrant, summonses and taken to the Hudson County jail.

On Sept. 3 at 10:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot of Sam’s Club located at 300 Millcreek Drive on a report of an assault. It was further reported to the police that the involved individual had fled the area on foot. The police subsequently observed the involved male in which the man began to run from the police in an attempt to flee. The man was ultimately taken into custody in the area of 400 Plaza Drive. Dante Moore, 26, of Jersey City, NJ was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer [2C:12-1B(5A)], Obstruction by Flight [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29- 2A(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5B] and Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B]. Mr. Moore was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $100. He was taken to the county jail.

On Sept. 4 at 10:56 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 100 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 23-year-old male, Jose Aguilera Marquez NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Aguilera-Marquez was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.

On Sept. 5 at 4:28 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 37-year-old woman, Christen Echevarria of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. She was issued a summons and released.

On Sept. 6 at 10:17 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Brandon Nelson-Lyde of Newark, NJ for Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Buspirone Hydrochloride [2C:35-
10.5E(2)]. He was taken to the county jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
