USA World Cup Game Will Be Shown From Secaucus Town Pool Wednesday Night

The game will be shown on a big screen at the town pool starting at 8 p.m. Fireworks will go off when it gets dark.

SECAUCUS, NJ — There are some important new developments everyone should know about the fireworks planned for Wednesday night at the Secaucus town pool:

First, the town will have a big screen set up at the pool and will be showing the USA vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina World Cup soccer game. The game starts at 8 p.m. Eastern time/5 p.m. Pacific time (it is being played in San Francisco). The gates to the Secaucus swim club open at 6 p.m.

Also, two live musical acts will perform at the pool Wednesday night: Secaucus' own Sydney Millevoi (she competed on "The Voice" this winter, on Adam Levine's team) will sing, plus the band Neil and the Diamonds.

This is Wednesday night, July 1 at the Secaucus Swim Club (2000 Koelle Blvd.). Gates open at 6:00 p.m. featuring food, entertainment and live music. Fireworks will go off around 9 or 9:30 p.m. when it gets dark. Open to Secaucus residents and their guests only. Must show photo ID.

NYC fireworks will be Saturday, July 4: If you want to see the massive Macy's 4th of July fireworks, head to the Hudson River waterfront July 4. This display is visible from the Jersey City waterfront and there will be food trucks, live music and family activities at Exchange Place. They will be setting off fireworks from the East River and the lower Hudson River this year, in collaboration with Jersey City. The best viewing spots on the East River are from the South Street Seaport district and fireworks will also go off directly from under the Brooklyn Bridge.
