• Football: Carteret Falls Short Against South Plainfield, 14-6 (tapinto.net) — South Plainfield’s football team ground out a 14-6 road win over Carteret, powered by big rushing nights from senior halfback Jaydon Jones and Christian Brown. The Tigers’ defense kept Carteret scoreless until the fourth quarter, then held firm. South Plainfield now looks ahead to hosting Scotch Plains-Fanwood next Friday night.
