• Fake Staff Emails Target South Brunswick School Families (patch.com) — South Brunswick school families are being warned about fake emails that appear to come from district staff and ask for money, gift cards, or personal information. The superintendent urges parents not to reply or click links, but instead report any suspicious messages directly to their child's school or the superintendent's office so the district can address the scam quickly.
   

• South Brunswick Introduces $1 Million Special Emergency Appropriation for Employee Severance Costs (tapinto.net) — South Brunswick Township is proposing a $1 million special emergency appropriation, financed with bonds, to cover severance costs from 2026 retirements and layoffs. Residents can weigh in when the council holds a public hearing and possible final vote on Ordinance 2026-13 on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. at the South Brunswick Municipal Building on Ridge Road.
   

• IACFNJ to Host Grand Navratri Garba Celebrations in South Brunswick on October 9 & 10, 2026 (patch.com) — South Brunswick residents can look forward to two nights of Navratri Garba celebrations at South Brunswick High School on October 9 and 10, running from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central Jersey is planning large crowds, traditional dance, food vendors, and contests, and encourages families from South Brunswick and nearby towns to buy tickets early online.
