• Gas Main Replacement to Snarl Traffic on South Orange Ave; Workers Will Pause During School Drop Off, Dismissal (villagegreennj.com) — Expect significant traffic delays on South Orange Avenue over the next two to three months as PSE&G replaces a gas main between Ridgewood Road and Mayhew. To ease school congestion, work will pause during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal near South Mountain Elementary and South Orange Middle School, and residents are urged to plan routes and sign up for local alerts.
