Section 8 Waitlist Opens In Union County For Eligible Residents

Eligible applicants must be a Union County resident or employee who is permanently disabled, between ages 18 and 62.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Union County has opened its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waitlist, according to a public notice shared by the Borough of Springfield.

To be eligible, a household must include a member who is permanently disabled and between 18 and 62 years of age, resides in Union County or works in Union County, and has a total household income that does not exceed the program's limits.

Income limits by household size are as follows: one person, $48,450; two people, $55,400; three people, $62,300; four people, $69,200; five people, $74,750; six people, $80,300; seven people, $85,850; eight people, $91,350.

Online applications are available at pha-web.com. Applicants already on the waitlist must keep their contact information current; failure to report an address change can result in removal from the list. Address and contact updates can be submitted to Development Directions LLC, 1600 St. Georges Ave., Suite 314, Rahway, or emailed to Angela@developmentdirectionsllc.com.

Applicants can check their position on the waitlist by entering their Social Security number through the applicant portal at pha-web.com.
