Rooted in Our Future isn’t your typical fundraiser—it’s a celebration of everything that makes the Preserve so special. Whether you’ve walked our trails for years or are just discovering us for the first time, all are welcome. This event is for anyone who values native plants, the importance of conservation and the power of community coming together for a shared purpose.
Join over 200 Preserve supporters for a celebratory, communal evening featuring: a spring-inspired menu by Max Hansen caterer, botanicals libations by Bluestem Botanicals, live jazz featuring the Dave Dales Trio and a lively Raise Your Paddle fundraiser. This year’s honorary co-host is Jenny Rose Carey, renowned gardener, educator and author.
The event will also feature interactive experiences from locally acclaimed artist, April Ann Bohmler, landscape designer, David Hughes of Weatherwood Design and more!
Our goal is to raise $200,000, and every ticket, every paddle raised and every moment of generosity helps move us closer. Proceeds directly support the work that sustains the Preserve each day—from maintaining 134 acres of native habitats and trails to advancing native plant education, research and community programming.
