• Maryland man sentenced in burglary ring tied to thefts in Morris, Sussex and Somerset counties (wrnjradio.com) — A multistate burglary ring hit a consignment boutique in Branchville, Sussex County, stealing tens of thousands of dollars in luxury items, and one Maryland participant has now been sentenced to five years in federal prison. Investigators tied at least 18 break-ins across five states to the crew, including repeat hits in Morris and Somerset counties, with total losses topping $2 million. Federal authorities are still seeking information from any additional victims.
