• ID Thief Extradited In $40K Check Fraud Scheme Targeting Bergen Business: Cops (dailyvoice.com) — Tenafly police say a months-long investigation into unauthorized withdrawals from a local business account led to identity theft charges against a Bayville man, who was extradited from Florida to New Jersey. Authorities allege he was linked to more than $40,000 in fraudulent checks here, and court records show he faces separate identity theft-related charges in Pennsylvania.
