Car Overturns In 3-Vehicle Parkway Crash In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — At least four people were injured Thursday in a three-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River, state police said.

State police were called to the crash at 1:50 p.m. at milepost 82.1 southbound, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.

The crash involved a Honda sedan, Toyota sedan, and Honda SUV and caused the Honda sedan to overturn, he said.

The drivers and passengers of both Hondas sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.

None of those injured were identified, and no other injuries were reported, he said.

The crash remains under investigation.
