Toms River Resident Admits Illegally Voting In 2022 Election
The man is a citizen of France, federal authorities said.
TRENTON, NJ — A French citizen who lives in Toms River has admitted to illegally voting in the 2022 federal election, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Thursday.
Eliezer Kadoch, 39, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one count of voting by an alien in a federal election, before U.S. Magistrate Judge J. Brandon Day in Trenton federal court, authorities said.
According to documents filed in the case and statements made in court, Kadoch is a citizen of France and has never been a citizen of the United States.

He voted in the November 2022 federal election that was held in part for the purpose of electing a member of the United States House of Representatives, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
