• 8 Smoke Shops Shut Down With 225 Pounds of Marijuana Seized (secaucusnj.net) — East Orange officials say they shut down eight illegal smoke shops after a months-long investigation that seized about 225 pounds of marijuana, cash and several vehicles. Among those arrested on distribution-related charges was a 29-year-old Totowa resident, as the city urges the public to report suspicious businesses and stresses that all defendants are presumed innocent.
