• Drop Box, Polling Place Changes For 2026 Primary Announced In Union County (patch.com) — If you vote in Union or elsewhere in Union County, new ballot drop box locations and some polling place changes could affect where you cast your 2026 primary ballot. Two drop boxes have moved to Conant Park in Hillside and the Summit Community Center, and polling locations in Union and several nearby towns are being updated. Check your sample ballot or the county elections website before Election Day.

• Sherrill proposes $49M expansion of newborn nurse home visit program statewide (wrnjradio.com) — Families in Union County are slated to gain access in January 2027 to New Jersey’s free universal newborn nurse home visit program, if the governor’s proposed budget is approved. The expansion aims to improve maternal and infant health, especially for Black mothers, by offering in-home health screenings, guidance, and connections to local resources for every newborn family.
