• County approves detour plan that will accelerate U.T. bridge project ‣ Ocean City Sentinel (ocnjsentinel.com) — Drivers in Upper Township should prepare for a full closure of part of Route 50 as the county backs a detour plan to speed up the bridge reconstruction project. Traffic will be rerouted via Tyler Road and Tuckahoe Road, with temporary signals added to manage flow. Officials say the approach should shorten construction time while protecting access for emergency services and school transportation.
