A GoFundMe organized by a family friend has already raised most of its $40,000 goal to cover funeral, medical, and housing costs so the children can focus on grieving and staying together.

• 23-Year-Old Woman Charged in Deadly Monmouth County Crash (rlsmedia.com) — A Brick Township woman was killed and another driver injured in a March three-vehicle crash at Route 70 and Morningstar Road in Wall Township, and a 23-year-old driver is now charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto. Prosecutors allege she ran a red light while under the influence; she has surrendered and remains presumed innocent pending court proceedings.

• UTCA CEO Rible appointed to New Jersey I-Bank Board of Directors (roi-nj.com) — Wall Township residents may be interested that UTCA CEO and former Wall police officer David Rible has been appointed to the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank board, influencing how low-interest loans fund infrastructure statewide. The Wall-based trade association he leads represents about 1,000 construction-related firms, and his term on the board runs through January 2028.
