• Alleged Cafeteria Stabber, Wayne School Served In Assault Lawsuit (patch.com) — Wayne residents are learning more about a lawsuit stemming from a 2025 stabbing inside Lakeview Learning Center's cafeteria, where a 14-year-old student was repeatedly wounded. Court records show both the school and the now-adult student accused of the attack have been formally served, as the victim's family pursues claims of negligent supervision and emotional and physical harm.
   

• Chris McIntyre, Longtime, Former Wayne Councilman and First Aid Volunteer Passes Away (tapinto.net) — Wayne is mourning Chris McIntyre, a longtime resident who served 20 years on the Township Council and decades with the Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad and local boards. Friends and officials, including Mayor Christopher Vergano, are remembering his deep commitment to public service, from representing the Fifth Ward to active involvement with the Wayne Elks and township commissions.
   

• 1776 Will Come to Wayne Community Center This November (broadwayworld.com) — A full production of the musical 1776 is coming to the Wayne Community Center on Pike Drive from November 13–15, giving local residents a chance to see a Tony-winning show close to home. The Theater League of Clifton will stage the Revolutionary-era story as part of America's 250th anniversary celebrations, with tickets discounted for seniors, students, and groups.
