Woman Hit By Car, Killed In Passaic County
Police say the driver stayed on the scene of the collision.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A woman is dead following a collision in Passaic County this weekend.
On Friday, around 9 p.m., police were called to Bloomfield Avenue and Shafto Street in Clifton on reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car.
Police arrived to find a severely injured 65-year-old Passaic woman in the road. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities said the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators. No criminal charges have been announced at this time.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim or the driver.
