• West Windsor Police To Hold 9/11 Memorial Workout Friday (patch.com) — West Windsor residents are invited to cheer on local police officers as they tackle a 110-floor StairMaster challenge Friday at the Nassau Park Planet Fitness to honor 9/11 victims on the attacks' 25th anniversary. Officers will be working out throughout the day, some in uniform or weighted vests, and the department is encouraging community participation in this public remembrance effort.

• West Windsor Police Launch Adopt A Bus Enforcement Program (patch.com) — West Windsor police are stepping up school-bus safety with a new "Adopt A Bus" program, where officers in marked and unmarked cars will randomly follow buses and ticket drivers who ignore flashing red lights and stop arms. Local motorists are reminded they must stop at least 25 feet away on undivided roads and slow to 10 mph on divided roads, with officers across all units participating.

• See the 21 N.J. high schools where students post jaw-dropping SAT scores (nj.com subscription) — West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South and North both rank among New Jersey's top 21 public high schools for SAT scores, with combined averages of 1,356 and 1,341 respectively. The statewide average is 1,052, so local students are significantly outperforming both state and national peers as college admissions season ramps up.
