Man Charged With Possession, Creating Child Porn In South Jersey

He used artificial intelligence to create nude photos, prosecutors said.

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — A 40-year-old man was arrested on child pornography charges on Tuesday, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.

Ralph C. Foy, of West Deptford, was charged with third-degree possession of child sexual abuse material and third-degree creating child sexual abuse material.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the Prosecutor's Office about someone who was uploading child pornography.

After carrying out a search warrant at Foy's home, authorities found 76 child sexual abuse material images on his cellphone.

They also found other images of a child that were digitally altered using artificial intelligence to convert a non-graphic image into a nude rendering.

Foy turned himself in on Tuesday and faces a maximum of five years in jail on each charge.
