WESTFIELD, NJ —Two Westfield moms have launched a new online platform designed to help parents find support services for children with developmental needs.

The free resource, called The Developedia, is an online directory that connects families with providers such as therapists, developmental specialists, and other professionals across New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City.

The platform currently includes more than 420 providers, according to its founders, Lindsay and Ali, who said the goal is to make it easier for families to access services and navigate what can often be a complex process.

Lindsay is a psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), while Ali works as a nurse anesthetist and is also a parent to a child who experienced developmental delays.

They said the idea for the platform came from both professional experience and personal experience as parents looking for support resources.

In addition to the directory, The Developedia also features a blog and events section with information and resources for families and providers.

The platform is free to use and is available at www.thedevelopedia.com.
