Driver Runs Red Light, Injures Pedestrian In Westfield, Police Say
The pedestrian was taken to Overlook Hospital with injuries on Saturday, said police.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A driver reportedly ran a red light before hitting and injuring a pedestrian in Westfield on Saturday.
Just after 2 p.m. on Aug. 15, a crash was reported at the intersection of North and Central avenues.
"It appears a vehicle was traveling south on Central Avenue toward North Avenue and struck the pedestrian after running the red light, said Westfield Police Lt. Michael Walsh.

The driver was issued two summonses.
The pedestrian had minor injuries to their hand and was taken to Overlook Hospital.
