Juvenile Dies In Union County Shooting, Authorities Say

A juvenile was found with fatal gunshot wounds Friday night in Elizabeth, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.

ELIZABETH, NJ — A juvenile was killed in a shooting Friday night in Elizabeth, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities said the incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Florida Street.

The victim, a male juvenile, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The Union County Prosecutor's Office and Elizabeth officials are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
