WESTFIELD, NJ — Police in Westfield are asking for the public’s help in identifying the owner of a cat found in town.

According to the Westfield Police Department, officers recently located a friendly cat that was found without a collar and did not have a microchip.

“Anyone recognize this adorable and friendly kitty?” the department said in a social media post. “We were unable to get a chip reading-no collar. If this is your kitty or you know who it belongs to please contact us.”
