Albany County DA investigating defunct firm, took county funds (wamc.org) — Albany County officials are scrambling after an Albany-based firm that managed employee flexible spending accounts abruptly shut down, taking county funds and freezing workers' access to healthcare money. The district attorney has opened an investigation, while the county rushes to replace the company and restore full FSA balances for affected employees as early as next week.
   

2. Dolly Parton's book program leaves lasting legacy in Capital Region (wnyt.com) — Families across Albany and the wider Capital Region are feeling Dolly Parton's impact through her Imagination Library, which now delivers free books to more than 15,000 local children before kindergarten. United Way leaders say the beloved program's future here depends heavily on ongoing donor support, with even small monthly gifts helping keep books flowing into kids' homes.
   

3. Albany man convicted on 15-count indictment for 3D printing firearms (news10.com) — An Albany man has been convicted on all 15 counts in a case involving 3D-printed firearms, following a 15‑month investigation led by New York State Police and the Albany County DA's office. Jurors found he was building an arsenal of unpermitted weapons in Albany homes, and he now faces a potential decades-long state prison sentence.
   

4. Albany man charged with grand larceny in Saratoga computer thefts (dailygazette.com) — An Albany man has been charged with second-degree grand larceny after State Police say he stole more than 140 computers, worth over $50,000, from his Saratoga County employer over several months. Investigators say he allegedly sold the devices for personal profit before surrendering to troopers and being arraigned in Malta Town Court.
   

5. PHOTOS: New Dominican-themed plane lands at Albany International Airport (news10.com) — A brightly painted JetBlue Airbus A320 celebrating Dominican culture made a brief stop at Albany International Airport this week, turning heads with its colorful livery. The "Quisqueya la Bluebella" design, created by Dominican artist Willy Gómez and chosen by public vote, features national symbols and cultural references meant to honor Dominican pride and community.
