• Cerebral Palsy Family 5K (longisland.com) — A family-friendly 5K to raise awareness for cerebral palsy is set for October 17, 2026 at Belmont Lake State Park in Babylon, giving locals a chance to walk, run, or roll together. The event honors young Julianna Rose, features a scenic, stroller- and pet-friendly course, and offers T‑shirts, medals, and refreshments for registered participants.
