• Pellechia, Sample repeat as Athletes of the Year (fredonia.edu) — A Babylon native, Kye Castelluccio (Babylon High School) earned SUNY Fredonia’s Blue Devil Belief Award for his leadership as a men’s soccer captain, while North Babylon’s Stevie Williams was named Male Rookie of the Year. The campus-wide awards night also highlighted record-setting performances by track star Cara Pellechia, standout guard Cameron Sample, and several other student-athletes and support staff.
