EMS checked students and staff on scene at Mount Kisco Elementary School and cleared them, according to the Bedford Central School District. The elementary students are safe, and have been fed lunch at Fox Lane High School, school officials said.
"At this time, all of our students and staff are back in their buildings and accounted for," Superintendent Robert Glass said in a statement this afternoon. :First and foremost, I would like to thank our staff for the incredible way they came together across schools to follow our emergency response plans. From administrators, teachers and aides to our food service provider (Aramark), our transportation supervisor and Towne Bus Company, Fox Lane’s security team and more, everyone came together to make this situation run as smoothly as possible."
