• Merestead's makeover is underway (halstonmedia.com) — Major restoration work is underway at Merestead, the county park that straddles Bedford and Mount Kisco, with trails remaining open while construction proceeds. Westchester County is investing more than $3 million in phase one to stabilize and restore the historic farmhouse, followed by interior and infrastructure upgrades as part of a broader $5.4 million preservation effort.
