• Congregation Beth Ohr launches new Jewish after-school program (liherald.com) — A Bellmore synagogue is launching OHRchard, a new Jewish after-school program this fall that offers local K–5 students a mix of Hebrew learning, enrichment, and camp-style fun. Serving families in Bellmore, Merrick, Seaford, Massapequa and nearby South Shore communities, it will run Monday through Friday with transportation from local schools and special full-day options when school is out.
