• One in critical condition after falling from ravine in Middleburgh (news10.com) — Emergency crews from Berne and East Berne helped rescue a man who fell nearly 100 feet into a ravine in Middleburgh, then moved him to a landing zone in Berne for an airlift to Albany Medical Center. Officials say he remains in critical condition and credit extensive training and coordination among multiple Schoharie and Albany County agencies for the successful technical rescue.
