• Woman pronounced dead after Thompson fire (riverreporter.com) — A Town of Bethel FAST Team assisted Monticello firefighters at a deadly house fire Tuesday in Thompson’s Melody Lake subdivision, where a woman was pulled from the home and pronounced dead at the scene. Multiple area departments, EMS crews, and investigators responded, and officials are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
