• Long Island Cares launches food drive ahead of the holidays (libn.com) — Bethpage residents in need can soon pick up special multicultural holiday food boxes at the Long Island Cares pantry in town, thanks to the new Gather & Give drive. The food bank aims to pack 8,600 boxes by Nov. 24, with 600 multicultural boxes going to pantries in Bethpage and nearby communities. Locals can donate canned and boxed food, money, or volunteer to help pack at LICares.org.

Prosecutors detailed how the shooter drove from Pennsylvania after a workplace dispute, while the victim’s grieving family described the loss of a devoted father of six in Nassau County Court.
