America250: Free Independence Day Concert
Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a free afternoon of patriotic music in downtown Binghamton. Beginning at 4:00pm, the Grenadiers Alumni Drum Line presents a dynamic program tracing the history of American drumming from colonial times to the present.
At 5:00pm, the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra takes the stage with a festive concert featuring beloved American classics, including music by Copland, Gould, Sousa, Berlin, and Tchaikovsky, culminating in the 1812 Overture and Stars and Stripes Forever.
Bring a lawn chair and celebrate Independence Day with live music for all ages.
