• Clogged drains causing pools of water on major highways, leading to crashes during rainy weather (whec.com) — Highway drains clogging in and around Brighton are leaving deep pools of water on I-490 and I-90, contributing to multiple crashes and serious safety concerns during rain. Rochester and Brighton firefighters were even clearing drains themselves as drivers described hydroplaning fears and urged neighbors to report standing water so transportation crews can respond.
