Brooklyn Leaders Call for More Accessible Subway Stations (bkreader.com) — Southwest Brooklyn residents and local lawmakers are pushing the MTA to add elevators at key stations in Bensonhurst, Gravesend, and Dyker Heights, arguing Brooklyn lags behind Manhattan in accessibility. A new petition drive, tied to the MTA's 2025–29 capital plan, aims to secure more accessible stations beyond the few already funded in the area.
