5. 2 teenagers charged after 13 parked cars were hit in Brooklyn neighborhood, police say (abc7ny.com) — In Gravesend, Brooklyn, two teenagers were arrested after a speeding Polestar sedan slammed into 13 parked cars on East 2nd Street, leaving a trail of wrecked vehicles but no injuries. Local residents, including an HVAC worker who lost his work van, say the crash underscores ongoing reckless driving problems and are calling for speed bumps and other traffic-calming measures.
