Affordable Housing Lottery Opens For Bushwick Building: See Photos

BROOKLYN, NY — An affordable housing lottery is offering two one-bedroom apartments in Bushwick.

Units are available at 1052 Willoughby Apartments for households earning between $78,960 and $122,160 annually, depending on household size.

The apartments are being offered at $2,139 per month to households earning up to 80% of the area median income (AMI).

Eligible household sizes range from one to three people, with income limits varying by household size.

The apartments feature hardwood floors, split-system heating and air conditioning, intercom entry systems and security cameras. Select third-floor units include private patios or balconies. The building also has an elevator, an accessible entrance, and is located near schools, bus stops and public transportation.

Tenants are responsible for electricity, including electric heat and the electric stove, while hot water is included in the rent. One small pet weighing up to 50 pounds is permitted per apartment, with a refundable $300 pet security deposit potentially required. Service animals are permitted.
