The Art Meetup is bringing artists, performers, local brands, and New Yorkers together at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center on September 12.

From 1–7 PM, attendees can experience creative workshops, poetry, an acoustic open mic, and opportunities to meet other people working across the arts.

The event is public and donation-based, with a simple goal: help more New Yorkers get outside, try something new, discover local talent, and connect without the pressure of traditional networking.

For Local Brands & Organizations

For Artists & Performers

Artists, musicians, singers, poets, storytellers, and other creatives are encouraged to attend and participate.

The open mic will be acoustic, with performers selected through a day-of sign-up pool.

This is a chance to share your work, meet other creatives, and become part of a growing community built around real-life connection.

Sign up pool will open at 1:30PM.

For Local Attendees

If you love art, live performance, creative workshops, or simply want to meet more interesting people in the city, there is a place for you here.
