Free Art Meetup Returns to Bushwick Today With Workshops, Local Artists, and Community Activities

Free art, workshops, local artists, food spots, and community come to Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick today. All are welcome.

BROOKLYN, NY — Maria Hernandez Park will host a free afternoon of art, creative workshops, and community gathering today as The Art Meetup returns to Bushwick from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The volunteer-led, donation-supported event welcomes artists, neighbors, families, and anyone looking to spend time outdoors in a creative environment. No artistic experience is required, and attendees are encouraged to participate at their own pace.

Activities throughout the afternoon include creative workshops, a community chalk mural, an outdoor artist showcase, wellness programming, and opportunities to meet local artists and neighbors.
