EPCAL U.S. Open parking survives court fight (riverheadlocal.com) — A state judge has ordered that U.S. Open spectators can still use the town’s Calverton Enterprise Park for parking and shuttles, but barred cars from a disputed private parcel owned by 400 David Court LLC. The ruling temporarily settles an easement fight between the owner, Riverhead and the USGA, allowing thousands of fans to pass through Calverton during the June 15–21 championship while lawsuits continue. 
2. Navy plans Calverton PFAS treatment amid criticism (riverheadlocal.com) — Navy contractors are preparing to install a PFAS groundwater treatment system at the former Calverton Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant, aiming to stop contamination from reaching Swan Pond by this fall. Local officials and residents, however, are sharply criticizing the Navy’s tightly controlled virtual meeting and delayed disclosure of alarming fish-safety data, pressing for more transparency and stronger protections for Calverton-area wells and waterways.
3. North Fork house of the week and real estate transfers: June 11, 2026 (timesreview.com) — Several Calverton properties, including homes on Golden Spruce Drive and Deep Hole Road, recently changed hands for prices ranging from the mid-$300,000s to the mid-$700,000s.
