• Flood mitigation & infrastructure money help kick off Climate Week in New York (cnycentral.com) — Canastota is set to receive a $50,000 state planning grant to advance wastewater infrastructure upgrades, part of $80 million in flood and water improvement funding announced for Climate Week. The money will help local officials develop engineering plans needed to tap into larger construction funds, aiming to reduce flooding risks and modernize aging sewer systems in central New York communities.
