• Court assessment finds quality care at North Star facilities despite bankruptcy (wwnytv.com) — Carthage Area Hospital is still delivering good-quality care despite North Star Health Alliance’s bankruptcy, though some procedures have been rescheduled because of equipment and supply shortages. A court-appointed monitor’s report, praised by the bankruptcy judge, found overall care at Carthage, Claxton-Hepburn, and Meadowbrook Terrace remains strong while financial issues are addressed.
