• Jefferson Co. program delivers free, local produce to seniors (wwnytv.com) — Carthage seniors can receive free, locally grown produce delivered directly to area senior centers through a Jefferson County Office for the Aging program running until mid-October. The service, supplied by Windswept Farms and paired with Cornell Cooperative Extension nutrition classes, also offers up to $150 in food coupons for participants who complete six healthy-eating sessions.
