Center Moriches School District Honors Class of 2026 at Commencement Ceremony
High School Graduates Celebrate Next Chapter
Center Moriches High School celebrated the class of 2026 during the school’s commencement ceremony on June 27, which was held in the gymnasium. Surrounded by family members, friends, teachers, District- and-building administrators, members of the Board of Education, and the school community, graduates crossed the stage to mark the culmination of years of hard work and achievements.
Throughout the ceremony, the class of 2026 was recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, resilience, and personal growth. Inspiring remarks were delivered by valedictorian Alexander Gentile, salutatorian Clara Tebbens, class president Madison Bennett, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ricardo Soto, Principal Marissa Mangogna, Board of Education President Brian Tenety, Board of Education Trustee Dr. Dawn DiPeri, with a special message from keynote speaker and Center Moriches alumnus, Kirsten Ford.
“The class of 2026 has demonstrated remarkable perseverance, leadership, and growth throughout their time in the Center Moriches School District,” Dr. Ricardo Soto, Superintendent of Schools, said. “We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to all they will achieve as they begin this exciting new chapter.”
