Dead Body Found In Central Park, NYPD Says
The body was found just days after the park was buried in nearly 20 inches of snow, police said.
CENTRAL PARK, NY — A dead body was found inside Central Park on Thursday morning, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the body was found at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at 63 Traverse Road and Center Drive, near the Central Park Carousel, just a few days after the park was buried in nearly 20 inches of snow.
The person was found unconscious and unresponsive, and medics pronounced the person dead at the scene, police said.

According to Pix11, the body was found underneath snow and leaves.
Police said the NYPD is working to identify the person, and the NYPD's chief medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
