• Restaurant inspections: 52 pass, 1 corrects previous violations; no failures (syracuse.com) — Several Cicero favorites—including Bear Creek Restaurant, Carmelita’s, Cicero Country Pizza, and Big Don’s Wild River Mini Golf—recently passed Onondaga County Health Department inspections with no violations. Dozens of other eateries across the county also earned clean bills of health between May 24 and 30. You can also report any concerns directly to the health department. 
• Governor Hochul Announces $366 Million Completion of Northern and Southern Interchanges as Part of the Interstate 81 Viaduct Project (ny.gov) — Drivers in Cicero will now see smoother, faster trips with the $226.5 million overhaul of the I-81/I-481 northern interchange in town officially complete. The project adds new flyover ramps, modern noise barriers, and safer traffic patterns that particularly benefit Cicero and North Syracuse commuters. Work continues on other I-81 viaduct segments, but this key Cicero phase is finished and open to traffic.
• Dozen Section III boys lacrosse players earn All-America, All-Academic honors from USA Lacrosse (syracuse.com) — Cicero-North Syracuse lacrosse standout Adrian Sweeney has been named a USA Lacrosse All-American, the only junior in Section III to earn that honor this season. Fellow Northstars attacker Donovan Chaney also grabbed All-Academic recognition, joining a dozen top players from across Central New York. Their performances helped power CNS to the Class A sectional title game.
