• Undergraduate Research Program receives $500K gift (cshl.edu) — Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory has received a $500,000 gift from Dr. Mukund Padmanabhan and the Guru Krupa Foundation to fund new Undergraduate Research Program fellowships on its campus. The grant will help financially constrained undergrads spend June–August living and doing hands-on research in CSHL labs, expanding access to high-level science training in Cold Spring Harbor. 
• Marcellus lacrosse gets another crack at Long Island powerhouse that kept them from state titles twice: ‘We want our revenge' (syracuse.com) — Cold Spring Harbor’s powerhouse boys lacrosse team will again face Marcellus for the Class D state title on Sunday, this time at Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva. Marcellus players, now older and more experienced, are eager to avenge back-to-back championship losses to the Seahawks and finally break Cold Spring Harbor’s decade-long dominance.
