• Sullivan County State Trooper to oversee patrol of Thruway (midhudsonnews.com) — A New York State Trooper who once served at SP Cortlandt has been promoted to major and will now command Troop T, which patrols the entire Thruway. His new role puts a former Cortlandt-assigned sergeant in charge of safety along the 570-mile corridor from New York City to Buffalo, including routes many local drivers use regularly.
