• Ulster County man charged after slapping disabled student on bus, police say (dailyfreeman.com) — Crawford police say a bus aide was arrested after allegedly slapping and threatening a disabled student while riding through Orange County, and he’s now due in Crawford Town Court. The victim, who has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal, was reportedly harmed on trips to a Sullivan County school. The suspect’s local fire company has suspended him pending investigation.
