• East Williston's Centennial Story Comes to Life in Pride of Place (thewillistonpost.com) — East Williston is marking its 100th year with a richly illustrated new history book, Pride of Place: 100 Years of Incorporation in East Williston. Created by village co-historian Elise Campagna Vaidya and a team of local leaders, it weaves photos, maps, and personal stories into a vivid portrait of the community’s past while encouraging residents to carry its traditions forward.
   

• Willets Road Student Earns Recognition in Suffolk County Bar Association Law Day Poster Contest (thewillistonpost.com) — A Willets Road School sixth grader from the East Williston community earned a Certificate of Recognition in the Suffolk County Bar Association’s 2026 Law Day Poster Contest. • Wheatley Junior Represents Long Island at International Science and Engineering Fair (thewillistonpost.com) — An East Williston School District junior from Wheatley earned a coveted spot at the 2026 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, representing both the district and Long Island. Her Parkinson’s-focused research using a common antibiotic showcases the strong STEM opportunities available to local students and underscores the district’s academic reputation well beyond village borders.
